Project Description:
Hunter AVC were responsible for the supply, installation, integration and commissioning of the Public Address system. The project was completed in two stages enabling the airport to continue operations during the installation. The public address and hearing loop systems were deployed over five zones in the airport. Recessed ceiling speakers and pendulum speakers were used for the interior and sound projectors where used for the exterior areas. The hearing loops used a phased array loop arrangement to ensure consistency of signal and minimal over-spill affecting areas outside the selected zone. The whole system had to conform to Australian standards for sound pressure levels and speech intelligibility.
